Who Am I?
I am a 42 year old church pastor and planter living in Denver with my wife, Rebecca, and our three children. I worked in the broadcast industry for 15 years prior to entering full-time ministry. I’m originally from Collinsville, Illinois and a 1984 graduate of Collinsville High School. My wife also graduated from CHS in 1986 and is from Caseyville, Illinois.
At present, I work for Free Will Baptist Home Missions as a church planter and am working to establish a new church in the North Denver suburbs. I love what I’m doing and I love working with people. I also write regularly for this blog and have been published in magazines like “One”, “Clear Living”, and “Together With God”.
My hobbies include reading, writing, and tech toys! I love spending time with my family, my church family, and my dog, Buddy. I am an avid baseball fan and follow the St. Louis Cardinals and now, the Colorado Rockies too. I love the sport of hockey and my son has picked up that passion. We enjoy going to the Rocky Mountain Rage minor league hockey games during the winter months and I love watching my son play roller hockey in Westminster.

Scott, great post, this falls right in line with my series in Galatians, do you mind if I post a link to your post http://scottcheatham.wordpress.com/2008/08/25/starbucks-wi-fi-christian-growth/

Dear Scott,
I just happened upon your comments about my two books, The New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge, and my newest venture, Nelson’s Cross Reference Guide to the Bible.
Thank you for the kind comments.
I would love to correspond with you so that I could share some “inside secrets” available in both volumes that you probably haven’t uncovered yet. They would assist you in ministry!
Yours in Christ,
Jerry
